Microsoft has released a major update to Outlook Mail and Calendar app on Windows 10 Mobile devices. Microsoft is rolling out a huge update Mail and Calendar app to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring.

The update comes with some noticeable changes. Microsoft has replaced the quick action buttons with attractive icon, earlier the quick action was being text. However, the change makes the app not look consistent with other quick actions.

Microsoft has also improved the performance of the apps and squashed some bugs. Microsoft has still not added the Fluent Design Elements to the Outlook Mail and Calendar app on Windows 10 Mobile.

For those who don’t know, Fluent Design System is a way to easily create cross-device experiences that look right on a variety of screen shapes and sizes. It’s intended to help apps work correctly across everything from phones, through tablets, to laptops and desktop PCs with big displays. However, the Fluent Design System is about more than just screens. Indeed, it’s also intended to embrace devices that might have no screen at all, such as wearables or Cortana-powered smart speakers. Microsoft says the Fluent Design System will be able to cope with apps that interact through touch, ink, voice, gaze, and gesture, in addition to the traditional keyboard and mouse.

The update is still rolling out and you can download the updated app by visiting the Windows Store.
