Microsoft today released a major update for its Windows Maps app for Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile. The update is available for Insiders in the Fast Ring. The latest update has bumped the app to new versionĀ 5.1706.14720.

The new features are currently available for users on Windows 10 Mobile. With the latest update Microsoft has brought the new voice navigation option along with the Fluent Design changes to the UI.

Users now have the option to choose between three volume options for Voice Navigation like Softer, Louder and Normal. Users can also select to play the navigation over Bluetooth or on the device.

The Redmond Giant has however removed the Automatic Zoom option and made is easier for users to go to Windows Bluetooth Settings directly from the Maps Settings.

The Maps app has also got the Fluent design where the Acrylic design now shows up in more places like search and there is a significant difference in the appearance from the previous update to the Maps App.
