Microsoft had earlier announced that it is planning to bring the Office Desktop apps to the Windows Store. The Office desktop app in the Windows Store will be advantage for Microsoft’s latest version Windows 10 S.
The company has not yet revealed the exact date on the availability of the Office Desktop app on Windows Store. But currently ahead of the its release the Office desktop apps are now available and searchable in the  Windows Store but users are not able to download them just yet.
In the search results if users try to search for “Word 2016” the app shows up in the search results. Microsoft has however removed the Office Mobile apps from the search results since if your search for “Word” the results says as not available.
