UPDATE: The changelog is live now and it confirms more features. Firstly, there are Music Videos available with the song now. If Groove finds a video of that song, you can play it by clicking the video icon. There are also some improvements to the Playlists section with the ability to follow featured playlists and add songs to a custom playlist instantly.

A pretty nice update is heading out currently for Groove Music users on Windows 10. Rolling out to insiders on the fast ring currently, the update is bringing a set of UI changes akin to Project Neon.

Bumping the app version to 17.17032.1019.0, the update brings a UI overhaul. From a sleek looking blurry backgrounds to a sexy sidebar, Groove feels a whole lot changed now. The PC version gets a better treatment than the Mobile one currently but that will eventually get sorted out.

Microsoft’s Project NEON was all about bringing back the Aero like effects back in Windows 10. Scheduled to be available in Redstone 3, it is indeed surprising that Microsoft is rolling out an update so soon. We expect more stock apps to get the same treatment soon with the Movies & TV app getting it first.

We will get a better look at Project NEON in the upcoming insider builds after the release of Creators Update. Redstone 3 is supposed to bring plenty of new features to both PC and Mobile and is planned to launch late this year.
