Microsoft at a Widows 10 Event last year had demoed a new camera app that allowed users to create 3D content which could then be used in the new 3D Paint App. The 3D Camera App was demoed on HP’s Flagship Elite X3 device.

The company had confirmed at that time that the app will be available very soon and will also be available for iOS and Android devices along with Windows 10 Mobile. The 3D Capture App was expected to be available with the official release of Windows 10 Creators Update which would be available on April 11th.

But now the company has confirmed that the app will not be available with the Creators update and that it would take some time for the company to release the app. We currently don’t have any particular time frame given by Microsoft as to the exact date for the release of the Capture App. We will however keep you posted once we have any info on the availability of the Capture App from Microsoft.
