Vivaldi, one of the alternate browser for Windows, has introduced new History feature with the latest update. The update takes the app to new version 1.8. The new History feature gives users insights into the online behaviour by finding old URL’s and checking already visited websites.

The latest feature lets users explore their browsing patterns which now are backed by statistics and visual clues. The features also lets users see the browsing history in a calendar view about the previously visited sites. The graphs and heat map shows peaks of online activity and key browsing trends.

The company in its blog posts confirms that the new History feature does not reveal any data to the company and that the data is strictly private and confidential. Apart from the History feature, the latest update also includes options for taking notes in the browser along with other bug fixes and performance improvements.
