Samsung is currently working on bringing a new Digital Assistant Bixby which the company plans to launch with its Galaxy S8. The Digital Assistant will be competing with Microsoft’s Cortana, Android’s Google Assistant and Apple’s Siri.

Microsoft recently updated its Digital Assistant Cortana to version 2.0 for iOS Devices and is now in line to face some stiff competition with Samsung’s Bixby. Samsung’s Bixby is supposed to thrive on three main points context awareness, cognitive tolerance, and completeness.

Samsung’s Bixby is rumored to be more intuitive in supporting complete range of tasks of certain apps that can be done with touch. The Bixby is supposed to be having a dedicated Button on the Samsung Galaxy S8 which would reduce the burden on the user.

The assistant will be allowing users to use both touch and voice without having to restart commands. Currently we are not sure how Bixby will be compared with Microsoft’s Cortana or Apple’s Siri since there is nothing new which Samsung’s Bixby is going to offer its customers.

We would need to wait and see what other new features Bixby is supposed to offer which is currently not being offered by Microsoft’s Cortana or Apple’s Siri. We will however be updating this article once we have any more news on Samsung’s Bixby.
