Windows 10 Redstone 3 is the company’s next major update and it is supposed to bring a lot of new features and improvements. Microsoft has planned to release Windows 10 Creators Update aka Redstone 2 in April. The Creators Update will introduce some improvements to the operating system. On other hand, Windows 10 Redstone 3 will mainly focus on new features.

Microsoft has internally codenamed the next major update for Windows 10 as Redstone 3. Microsoft has finally started compiling the first Windows 10 Redstone Build. As spotted by Buildfeed, Windows 10 Build 15141 has been compiled in rs_prerelease branch internally.

Just a few days ago, Microsoft has officially confirmed that the company is planning to release the second major update for Windows 10 this year after the release of the Windows 10 Creators Update. As stated earlier, Windows 10 Redstone 3 will introduce a lot of new features. The company will also introduce the project NEON, a new design language. Windows 10 Mobile will also receive new features such as design improvements with Redstone 3 update.

Windows 10 Redstone 3 update will be released in October. Furthermore, Microsoft has confirmed earlier that the Windows Insiders will continue to receive preview builds and provide feedback to the company.
