Microsoft’s latest and greatest operating system, Windows 10 is slowly grabbing some market share and has become the second most used OS in the world.

A current report by NetMarketShare shows that Windows 10 climbed up the percentage chart by a little bit since last year. It is now installed on 25.36%, up from 24.36% from last month. Windows 7 still remains the king, commanding a solid 47.2%. Windows 8 and the veteran but still popular Windows XP remains still used by a large number of users. MacOS, is the least used(no wonder why).

If the current trend continues, Windows 10 will overcome Windows 7 by the end of this year. With Microsoft going all out on Windows 10, with feature packed updates every year, people are slowly but steadily switching to it. With the upcoming Creators Update, set to launch sometime in the mid of this year, the market share of Windows 10 will surely rise by a considerable chunk. With improvements for PC gamers and artists, Windows 10 will be more inviting than ever this year.
