Microsoft has now begun to implement the ability to track the download progress as you download files, which was a much demanded feature by the Windows Insiders. The company has now finally implemented the feature and you can view the percentage of download files from the Action or Notification Centre as you download the file.

This feature is currently available for Members of the Windows Insider program who can view the progress in real time from the applications downloaded from the Windows Store. The company is offering the new API’s for third party developers to use this feature in their apps.

The download progress can also be known via a simple toast notification. This feature is currently available for users of Windows 10 Mobile and PC who opted for Fast Ring. This feature will be released to all users with the official release of Windows 10 Creators Update in the month of April 2017.

Do share your experiences in the comments below if any of our users are currently being able to use the feature on Windows 10 Mobile.
