Windows 10 mobile is pretty secure and has some advanced security features like Bitlocker and TPM. Throw in Microsoft’s Windows Hello biometric system, and you have a solid secure mobile OS.

Lumia 950 and Lumia 950XL brought iris scanners with them and the HP Elite x3 also added a fingerprint scanner to the fray. Now a recent Microsoft patent shows what the future of fingerprint scanners may look like on upcoming mobile devices. The fingerprint scanner will be an on-screen one and it will result in more thinness of the device.

While iris scanners and the current version of fingerprint scanners are okay for many, nonetheless we will be pleased to see something this good on Microsoft’s future mobile devices. What do you guys say?
