Today, Microsoft is releasing an update for their cross platform code editor. The new May 2016 release of Visual Studio Code bumps the build number to 1.2 and adds a couple of new features like adding additional IntelliSense support for more languages and a new integrated terminal within VS Code.

This release also includes a couple visual improvements over the current version like an updated search field, resizable peek view and improved tab support. Get the new VS Code 1.2 update today through the app itself by navigating to Help > Check for updates or download the latest version at code.visualstudio.com
