We all are waiting for the new Skype Universal app for Windows 10 Mobile. The app is already available for the Windows 10 PCs for those in latest build and Microsoft is working on the Mobile version of the app. Now, the Skype UWP has been leaked on XDA Forums by Jeremy Sinclair.
You can download and install it on your Windows 10 Mobile if you have latest Redstone build. Here is the procedure of how you can download and install it on your phone:
- Download the .appxbundle from here
- Go to settings> Update and Security> For developers and enable Developer Mode.
- Copy the package to the phone and open it from the File Explorer
- Click on install and you are done
Note:- You should only try it if you are running latest Redstone build. Also, if it doesn’t deploy, remove the Skype app which is already installed and try again. This is not an official release, hence you can encounter some bugs. Try it at your own risk.
Tell us in the comments if you have successfully installed it.
