Microsoft released a new cumulative update to TH2 Build (10586) for Windows 10 Mobile yesterday bringing the OS Version to 10586.122. The update is only available for Slow and Preview Rings..

Now from the Blog Post notes Microsoft is hinting at the RTM Build of W10M. It advises Insiders to update to this build from WP8.1, so Microsoft can test the upgrade path that customers will be taking from WP8.1

From Microsoft Blog:

“If you’re a Windows Insider who is willing to help test the upgrade path that most customers will be taking from Windows Phone 8.1 – you can use the Windows Device Recovery Tool to go back to Windows Phone 8.1 and then download the Windows Insider app from the Store and jump into either the Slow or Release Preview rings to pick up Build 10586.122 for your phone. Make sure to send feedback on any issues you encounter through the upgrade process or after the upgrade completes. We appreciate Insiders helping us test out the upgrade from Windows Phone 8.1 to help ensure our customers have a great experience.”

But yesterday we have reported a leak of a higher TH2 Build bringing the OS Version to 10586.164. We are not sure is .122 is the RTMed Build or will they again release cumulative update to bring the OS to .164. Anyway the app list bug is still not fixed on 10586.164. So they may be trying to fix this with another cumulative update before GR of W10M. We are also not sure 10586.164 will be pushed to Insiders.

Its all in the hands of Microsoft..
